Title: The problems of corporate governance in Russia and its regions
Abstract: Within the framework of the present research, a theoretical review of the problems of corporate governance was prepared. Consideration was given to certain formulations (definitions, general approaches, etc.), the problems of the interaction between corporate ownership and corporate management, the mechanisms of confrontation and cooperation within a corporation (special mechanisms of corporate governance as a complex hierarchical system of checks-and-balances). The logic of research envisages - with regard to the achieved results - the need to further reveal the specific features of the formation of the corporate-governance model under the conditions of an economy in transition. Consideration is given to the general preconditions and typical features of development of a system of corporate governance under the specific conditions of an economy in transition, typical features of formation of the Russian model are analyzed.
