Consideration was given to certain formulations (definitions, general approaches, etc.), the problems of the interaction between corporate ownership and corporate management, the mechanisms of confrontation and cooperation within a corporation (special mechanisms of corporate governance as a complex hierarchical system of checks-and-balances). The logic of research envisages - with regard to the achieved results - the need to further reveal the specific features of the formation of the corporate-governance model under the conditions of an economy in transition. Consideration is given to the general preconditions and typical features of development of a system of corporate governance under the specific conditions of an economy in transition, typical features of formation of the Russian model are analyzed.
