The noticeable improvement of federal budget parameters resulted from revenue growth by 2.4 pp. of GDP and expenditure decline by 8.6 pp. of GDP respectively, compared to January 2013. Meanwhile, these changes have not eliminated the looming risks for the budget system’s sustainability, posed by the forecasted decline in the economic growth rate and the growth of government debt in the medium-term period.
