According to Alexander Knobel, non-oil and gas exports demonstrated good dynamics in the past few years. As regards the International Cooperation and Exports national project, its volume is expected to increase by nearly 100% by the year 2024, that is, from $135bn to $250bn.

Having studied the fiscal capacity of the regions based on the results of 4 months of 2020, Alexander Deryugin, Researcher of the Budget Policy Department, Gaidar Institute has come to a conclusion that Moscow saved regions of the North Caucasian Federal District from the budget crisis through the advanced allocation of fiscal transfers.
