Employees of the Department for analysis of best international practices of the Gaidar Institute have prepared the 11th issue of the Monitoring of legal regulation of digital economy.

On December 10, 2024, the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy held an online conference “The real estate services market in Russia” based on results of a comprehensive socio-economic and legal study conducted by the Center for Evidence-Based Expertise.

It is with great sorrow that we inform you that Alexander Vladimirovich Maximov, retired Captain 1sr Rank, an employee of the Gaidar Institute and assistant to Yegor Timurovich Gaidar, has died after a serious illness.

Researchers of the Gaidar Institute's International Best Practice Analysis Department prepared the tenth issue of the Monitoring of Legal Regulation of the Digital Economy.

On November 12, there was a panel discussion of Danila Raskov's book “The Rhetoric of Institutionalism”, published by Gaidar Institute Press in the series “New Economic Thinking”.

The Gaidar Institute journals Economic Policy and Russian Journal of Economics are the first Russian journals to make the Academic Journal Guide rating list compiled by the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS).

On October 28, 2024, Ariadna Pavlovna Bazhova, daughter of the celebrated writer Pavel Bazhov, wife of the war journalist and writer Timur Gaidar and mother of the scholar, reformer, political activist and constant director of the Institute for Economic Policy, Yegor Timurovich Gaidar, passed away at the age of 99.

On October 23, Ekaterina Papchenkova and Lora Nakoryakova, partners and experts of the Gaidar Institute's Center for Evidence-Based Expertise, participated in the Moscow International Housing Congress-2024, where they presented preliminary findings of a comprehensive socio-economic and legal research of the real estate services market.

Researchers of the Gaidar Institute's International Best Practice Analysis Department prepared the ninth issue of the Monitoring of Legal Regulation of the Digital Economy. The review contains information on the main trends in the development of the digital economy in the world.

On October 14, Lora Nakoryakova,  representative of the Center for Evidence-based Expertise of the Gaidar Institute, took part in a roundtable discussion “Debating Concepts of Regulation of Services in the Real Estate Market” at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI RF). The event was attended by State Duma deputies, representatives of real estate agencies, developers, public organizations, and notaries.

On October 10, 2024, CNEWS hosted the conference “Cloud and Platform Services: IaaS, DBaaS, DRaaS, Kubernetes, SECaaS”. 
Olga Magomedova, a researcher at the International Best Practice Analysis Department of the Gaidar Institute, presented a paper on the new legal institutions in the regulation of personal data and their impact on work in cloud providers.

On October 17 at 15:00, there will be an open discussion of «Power: A New Social Analysis» by Bertrand Russell published by Gaidar Institute Press in 2024.

On October 21–25, the World Trade Center in Moscow will host the jubilee 25^th Moscow International Housing Congress, a major business event in the B2B format in the real estate sector.
