Georgy Idrisov Participates in the Discussion of Challenges and Risks Involved in the Implementation of the May 2018 Presidential Executive Order

Head of the Center for Real Sector of the Gaidar Institute Georgy Idrisov took part in the discussion of challenges and risks involved in the achievement of goals set in the May 2018 Presidential Executive Order.

The discussion was held at St Petersburg in the framework of the XVIIth All-Russia Forum ‘Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia: Stakeholders of the Future’.

In his presentation, Georgy Idrisov estimated the achievability of the national development targets set forth in President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin’s Executive Order No 204 dated May 7, 2018 ‘On National Goals and Strategic Objectives of the Russian Federation through to 2024’, and discussed the change management methods that could help in achieving those goals.

Georgy Idrisov paid special attention to those effects of implemented national projects that could stay at the base, that is, over a long-term period. He presented three project management models – linear, cyclical and iterative, each of which being better applicable to the practices of project committees, with due regard to the necessity to productively involve the Federation’s subjects in the implementation of the Presidential Executive Order.
