Inequality in the Income of the Population Went Down

Real disposable money income of the population continue falling. For the first four months of 2015, the real disposable money income of the population fell by 2.2% compared with January–April 2014.

Real disposable money income of the population in April 2015 went up against the previous moth by 13%. However, compared with April 2014, they fell by 4%.

Real wage paid in April 2015, remain unchanged in comparison with March indicator, falling against April 2014 by 13.2%, when in April 2014 the real wage paid increased compared with the corresponding period the previous year by 3.2%.

Over January–April 2015, the real wage paid shrank compared with the same period last year by 10.2% (in 2014 the real wage paid went up within January-April by 4.1% compared with the corresponding period 2013).

Nominal money income of the population in April 2015 averages Rb30,569 up 8.6% compared with April 2014, and up11.9% compared with March 2015. Within January–April 2015, the nominal money income of the population up 10.3% from the corresponding period last year.

Monthly wage paid for employee averaged Rb32,805 in April 2015 up 1% in comparison with April 2014 and up 0.5% compared with March 2015.

According to preliminary data, in Q1 2015 compared with the corresponding period the previous year income inequality of the population somewhat fell:
•   Jini coefficient was 0.397, when for the same period the previous year it constituted 0.401;
•   P/R ratio was 13.9 (in Q1 2014 – 14.4).

In Q1 2015 compared with Q1 2014, 10% share of the poorest population in the overall volume of money income did not change and remained at 2.1% and 10% share of the richest population fell in the overall volume of money income of the population to 29.2% (in Q1 2014 it constituted 29.5%).
