Anna Kiutsevskaya, Researcher of Monetary Policy Department, delivered a presentation “Specific characteristics of the exchange-rate policy in the inflation targeting countries» at the 22nd international conference on macroeconomic analysis and finance, held at the University of Crete, Rethymno, Greece on May 24-26, 2018.

On May 29-30, the Gaidar Institute participated in the annual Forum of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) as a permanent Knowledge Partner of the forum.

On May 14, the executive director of the Gaidar Institute Sergei Prikhodko and the leading research assistant of the Institute of Nuclear Energy, former Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexei Vedev, took part in the 11th Baltic States Forum on the topic "Cooperation of the Baltic Sea Region in Difficult Times" in Turku ).

On April 18, leading researcher of the Gaidar Institute Alexei Vedev took part in a round table of bank analysts, organized by the newspaper Izvestia. The round table discussed risks for the Russian economy, the foreign exchange market, and the prospects for the ruble exchange rate.
