Beckhan Chokayev’s report at the 15th April Higher School of Economics Scientific Conference
On April 3, 2014, senior researcher of Gaidar Institute’s Foreign Trade Department Beckhan Chokayev made a report on Evaluation of Economic Effects of the Establishment of a Free Trade Zone with the European Union at The 15th April Higher School of Economics Scientific Conference.
Mr. Chokayev spoke about potential economic effects of a free trade agreement between the Russian Federation and the European Union, which provides for zero-rating of import tariffs in trading commodities between the Customs Union and the European Union.
