Expert and analytical support for comprehensive analysis of information systems of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for the purpose of issuing an expert opinion on the feasibility of further operation of information systems .

In April 2023, Gaidar Institute experts launched a project to provide expert and analytical support for a comprehensive analysis of information systems of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to issue an expert opinion on the feasibility of further operation of information systems

The purpose of the services was to provide expert and analytical support for a comprehensive analysis of information systems of the central office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for the preparation of expert opinions containing a decision on the need for decommissioning and further operation of information systems of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation according to the requirements to the creation, development, commissioning, operation and decommissioning of state information systems and further storage of information contained in their databases, approved by the RF Government Decree No. 676 of July 6, 2015 “On the requirements for the procedure of creation, development, commissioning, operation and decommissioning of state information systems and further storage of information contained in their databases”.

Within the framework of expert and analytical activities on comprehensive analysis of information systems of the central office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the following activities were implemented: 

  • Analysis of five information systems to be considered for decision-making on decommissioning of information systems of the central office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
  • Measures to prepare expert opinions to the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade containing information on the possibility of decommissioning five information systems.
  • The project was completed by June 15, 2023.
