Gaidar Readings were held in Nizhniy Novgorod
On 12 March, Gaidar readings 'Current challenges of economic policy and development of the banking sector on the federal and regional levels (on example of the Privolzhsky Federal District banks)' were held in the city of Nizhniy Novgorod.
Rationale of the topic is due to the challenges which the regional banks face in the wake of the current financial crisis. Readings were held on the premises on the Nizhniy Novgorod institute for public management of the Russian Presidential academy of national economy and public administration.
Readings were organized by the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy, Russian Presidential Academy of national economy and public administration, and the Yegor Gaidar foundation.
