Gasan Ramazanov: Stopping oil pumping through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium will bring financial losses for Kazakhstan and for US companies

Gaidar Institute expert Hasan Ramazanov commented to Nezavisimaya Gazeta on the consequences of Ukrainian UAV strikes on oil pumping stations in the Krasnodar region.

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), which provides oil from Kazakhstan to the world market, is key for the export of raw materials from this region. The halting of oil pumping through this system after the AFU drones attacked Kropotkinskaya and Kavkazskaya oil refining stations threatens to limit the supply of Kazakh oil to the world market and large financial losses for Kazakhstan and US investors, the expert said.
