International conference “Russia and the World: in Search of Innovation Strategy”
On 16-19 March 2011 international conference “Russia and the World: Searching for an Innovation Strategy” will be held in the framework of Gaidar Forum. The conference will address issues of innovation development and modernization of Russia’s economy in the coming decade. The conference will take place in RANE (Vernadsky Av., 82).
The format of the conference will be plenary sessions and expert “round tables” whose attendees will be able to present and discuss their understanding of key trends and challenges of innovation development and modernization of Russia.
Plenary discussions will be moderated by representative of the RF Government, leaders of number of the RF subjects, renowned Russian and foreign economists and public figures who also will be among key speakers.
Plenary sessions will address such issues as: economic theory, innovations, financial policy and innovations, education and science for innovations, political institutions and innovation economy, innovation and regions, culture and innovations, social challenges of modernization, issues and prospects of innovation growth.
The conference will be co-hosted by Gaidar Institute, RANE and Gaidar Foundation.
