On 25 February, leading researcher at the Social Services Department Irina Dezhina spoke at the 58th Annual Convention of the International Studies Association (ISA) in Baltimore, USA, with the report “Research and Innovation Policy in Russia: Dynamic Process, Invariable Results?”

ISA is the largest professional association of international affairs researchers, gathering annually more than 6,000 specialists from all over the world.

This year, the convention focused on the phenomenon of change in world politics. Therefore, a large number of sessions and round tables were devoted to the prospects of transforming or even changing the existing international order, as well as discussing the uncertainty in the US foreign policy associated with the new Donald Trump administration.
