Irina Starodubrovskaya and Konstantin Kazenin given honorary diplomas

Director of the Center for Political economy and regional development of the Gaidar Institute, Irina Starodubrovskaya, and senior researcher, Konstantin Kazenin were given honorary diplomas at the ceremony of Khadjimurat Kamalov prize giving in Makhachkala. Diplomas were given in nomination "For the development of information and discussion platform in Dagestan."

Prize "For great contribution in the consolidation of the civil society" named after a well-known Dagestan journalist, Khadjimurat Kamalov, murdered in 2011, is given since 2013. Prizewinners are selected by journalists of Dagestan weekly "Chernovik" set by Kamalov.

The ceremony of price awarding was held in Makhachkala on 19 May.
