Irina Tolmacheva participated in the Caucasus Investment Forum

The forum was dedicated to the key issues of the North Caucasus Okrug development in order to ensure investment attractiveness and advanced development of the region's economy and social sphere.

Irina Tolmacheva participated in the panel discussion “Prospects for the development of endowment funds of non-profit organizations in Russia.” The discussion was devoted to the role and functions of the state in the development of endowment funds of non-profit organizations (NPOs).

On the one hand, it is tax benefits for individuals and legal entities participating in the replenishment of endowment, which allows activating the processes aimed at increasing the total volume of endowments. On the other hand, the state support of non-profit organizations by allocating budgetary funds to replenish the endowment fund, thereby developing this sector of the economy.

Participants discussed priority areas for the development of endowment funds in Russia, principles and mechanisms of government support to the funds, and also considered criteria required for endowments’ funds to be included in the register.
