Irina Tolmacheva Took Part in the Discussion about Regulations on Intellectual Property
On 14–16 March, the head of the Gaidar Institute legal department Irina Tolmacheva took part in the subregional workshop “Regulations on Intellectual Property in Universities and Research Institutes” held in St. Petersburg.
The workshop was organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization together with Rospatent, with support from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the meeting was to raise awareness of the importance of developing regulations in the field of intellectual property for research institutions and universities, as well as to exchange experience and to identify problems and needs of research institutions and universities in the Russian Federation.
During the workshop, development and implementation of regulations on intellectual property were discussed, as well as the best practices in this area.
