Irina Tolmacheva took part in the “Endowment EXPO” all-RUSSIAN exhibition

On May 21-22, Irina Tolmacheva, Head of the Legal Department of the Gaidar Institute, Head of the “Legislation” Subgroup of the Interdepartmental Working Group on the Development of Endowments Funds in Higher Education Establishments took part in the “Endowment EXPO: Education, Science, Social Sphere” first all-Russian exhibition which took place at the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University within the scope of the “Eternal Contributions” Assembly of the National Endowment Association.
Visitors and experts took part in parallel sessions, where topical issues of fundraising and management of endowments of universities, schools and cultural organizations were discussed, and master classes on the development of an investment strategy and analysis of problem situations and bottlenecks in the work of endowment funds. The Assembly’s first day ended with an award ceremony for the winners of the annual “Eternal Contribution” NEA award. The second day of the Assembly (May 22) was held in the interiors of the Farmers' Palace on the premises of the Peterhof State Museum. Two sessions were held in a closed format for managers of endowment funds and financial management companies: the “Working with Eternity” Visionary Session and the Investment Committee 2.0. Participants discussed trends and prospects for the development of the industry, concrete actions and projects for such development. The “Eternal Contributions” Assembly of the National Endowment Association was sponsored by the RF Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The partners were the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, the Peterhof State Museum, as well as JSC April Capital and JSC TKB Investment Partners, asset management companies.
