Issue No.17 (December) 2015 of the "Online Monitoring of Russia’s Economic Outlook" Was Published

Issue No.17 of the analytical review – The Online Monitoring of Russia’s Economic Outlook. Trends and Challenges of the Social and Economic Development – was published. The goal of the above review is to follow current trends and changes in the Russian economy.

Main themes of the issue: GDP Growth Rate in 2015–2016: What Its Decomposition Speaks of; The Banking Sector: economies of scale afoot; ”Import preservation” in Lieu of Import Substitution; Russia’s import ban on Ukrainian foods: magnitude and implications; Regional social expenditures: a country of contrasts.

The online monitoring is prepared with participation of experts of the Gaidar Institute, the RANEPA and the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
