Natalia Kornienko made a presentation at the Tax policy conference held in Bishkek

On 13–14 March, Natalia Kornienko, Gaidar Institute expert, made a presentation 'Practical application of excise tax administration modern mechanisms in EU countries aimed at clamping down on contraband and counterfeit goods (mechanisms of registration, accounting and control over alcoholic and tobacco products by using system of marking with control (identification) labels in EEU countries') at the international conference held in the city of Bishkek (Kirgiz Republic).


The conference was dedicated to the issues of coordination of the fiscal policy and harmonization of the tax legislation of the Kirgiz Republic with Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), implementation of measures (in tax sphere) of the Road map designed to the accession of the Kirgiz Republic to the Customs Union and readiness to cancel customs clearance and control on the Kirgiz-Kazakh boarder as well as other integration issues.
