“Online Monitoring of Russia’s Economic Outlook” released, №3 (March 2015)

3rd issue of the "Online Monitoring of Russia’s Economic Outlook. Trends and challenges of socio-economic development" has come out. It is a new analytical review which task is to monitor current trends and shifts in the Russian economy.

Experts from the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy, Russian Presidential academy of national economy and public administration and the All-Russia Foreign Trade Academy under the RF Ministry of Economic Development drafted the monitoring. Vladimir Mau, RANEPA's rector, chairs the editorial board.

Gaidar Institute, RANEPA and VAVT represent outstanding expert and analytical centers on consulting the state bodies of the Russian Federation. They dispose of unique expert qualification on socio-economic issues.

Main topics of this issue are: socio-economic forecast for 2015 which is more pessimistic than the official one drafted by the Ministry of Economic Development; banking sector: time to pay debts instead of extending loans; federal budget in January: less oil and more defensive; drastic fall of Russia's external trade turnover; simultaneous growth and fall in the processing sector; business trends in February: sharp growth of industrial pessimism; economic environment in Russian regions; fall in population's income .
