Sergey Sinelnikov-Murylev addressed collegium of the Ministry of Finance

On 14 April, Sergey Sinelnikov, Academic Director of the Gaidar Institute, addressed an extended meeting of collegium of the Ministry of Finance.

In his address, he defined main challenges facing Russia: dependence on the oil sector, Pension Fund future deficit, high level of budget outlays.

Sergey Sinelnikov proposed the following measures aimed at confronting these challenges: development of a long-term strategy in the sphere of taxes and budget outlays, reduction of term of tax maneuver operation, increasing differentiation between those who just went on a pension and retired elders.
