Stepan Zemtsov Spoke at the II International Conference “The Arctic – 2017’
On 16 February, senior researcher at the Innovation Economy Department Stepan Zemtsov spoke at the II International Conference “The Arctic: Offshore Projects and Sustainable Regional Development”. His report was titled “Innovation Potential and Developing High Technologies in Russian Arctic Zone.”
According to the speaker, the role of Arctic regions in the development of new technologies is less than 5% for most indicators, and their importance is decreasing. At the same time, there are a number of unique technologies, and the level of penetration of the latest information and communication technologies is higher than the average in the regions.
