At the event, Sergey Prikhodko as moderator, Alexey Vedev, Sergey Dubinin and Andrey Nechaev shared their views on current trends in the global economy, features of monetary and fiscal policies of the world’s leading economies and discussed the future of the US dollar as the dominant reserve currency and potential alternatives.
Alexey Ulyukaev presented to the meeting participants his vision of the current situation in the global arena. Special attention was paid to the impact of global challenges, such as the US government debt, on the stability of the dollar exchange rate. The issues related to demographic changes in China and their impact on international currency relations were also addressed.
