On 9 June RBC portal published an article by Sergey Tsukhlo, head of the Business Surveys Laboratory, where findings of the business surveys of Russian enterprises were given. The article stated that they were ready to purchase domestic equipment and raw materials instead of the imported one.

On 22 May, head of the World Trade Department, Alexander Knobel, participated in the Astana economic forum – 2015 with a presentation made at the panel 'Real and feasible effects of integration in the Eurasian Economic Union and other regional associations' within the discussion on 'Strategy of economic growth and effect of integration in the Eurasian Economic Union and other regional associations.'

On 25 may, the RBC portal released an article by the head of the Innovation Economy Department, Vera Barinova, "Jitney races: why small business can pull the economy in the wake of the crisis."

On 22 May, the RBC portal released an article by the Director of the Center for Political Economy and Regional Development, Irina Starodubrovskaya, "Doublespeak: the way Russia argued about the Chechen wedding" where the author elaborates on the moral and ethical right of the state and society to interfere with the cultural traditions.

On 20 May, Irina Dezhina, , leading researcher of the Social Economy Department, gave an invited lecture "Russian-speaking scientific expact community: experience and incentives for cooperation with Russia" at the research and practice seminar held by the Institute of Innovations Management Of the NRU-HSU "Innovation Environment."

On 21 May 2015, Moscow mayor, Sergey Sobianin, handed out to Scientific Director, Sergey Drobyshevsky, a letter of acknowledgement from the President, Vladimir Putin, for services in preparation of ensuring Russian representation in G20 in St. Petersburg in 2013 (Letter of acknowledgement of the President of the Russian Federation of 15 April 2014).

Director of the Center for Political economy and regional development of the Gaidar Institute, Irina Starodubrovskaya, and senior researcher, Konstantin Kazenin were given honorary diplomas at the ceremony of Khadjimurat Kamalov prize giving in Makhachkala. Diplomas were given in nomination "For the development of information and discussion platform in Dagestan."
