On 12 August 2015, Director of Center for Political Economy and Regional Development Irina Starodubrovskaya made presentation titled “Radical Islam in Russia. Myths and Reality” at the seminar “Radical Islam in Russia: local and global dimensions”  held in Oslo by Norwegian institute of international relations.

On 10 August 2015, the Russian daily business newspaper Vedomosti published an article (“Currency: the logic of overregulation”) written by Gaidar Institute Academic Supervisor Sergey Sinelnikov-Murylev and  RANEPA researchers Pavel Trunin and Antonina Levashenko, in which the authors review the Russian practice  of effective restrictions for Russian individuals on maintaining accounts with foreign banks outside Russia.

On 30 July-1August, Scientific Director Sergey Drobyshevsky took part in the International conference G20 Think Tanks Summit: Global Governance and Open Economy hosted by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China. Prof Drobyshevsky gave presentation "Do We Need a Global 'Central Planner' and 'Optimal' Economic Policy for All?"

On 3 August 2015, the daily Vedomosti published an article by experts of the Gaidar Institute: Georgy Igrisov, Director of Center for Real Sector, Andrey Kaukin, Head of Industrial Organization and Infrastructure Economics Department, and Yury Ponomarev, researcher of the same department, where they assert that the exchange rate pass-through into domestic prices will reveal itself. 

On 22 July 2015, Mikhail Khromov, Director of the Center for Structural Research, gave an interview to Ducascopy, Swiss Financial Television, wh ere he noted a decrease in the number of negative forecasts of the Russian economy development for this year.

On 22 June 2015, Forbes published an article by Arseny Mamedov, Head of the Budgetary Policy Department, where he analyses "Main Directions of the Budgetary Policy for 2016 and for the Planned Period of 2017-2018" submitted by the Ministry of Finance.

On 6-10 July 2015, Alexandra Bojechkova, Head of the Monetary Policy Department, and Yury Ponomarev, researcher of Industrial Organization and Infrastructure Department, attended the Summer School of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.

On 3-5 July, Gaidar Institute Academic Director Sergey Sinelnikov-Murylev participated in the 15th Aix-en-Provence Economics Meetings (France) "Where Employment Could Be a Solution?" He made presentation at the panel session "Financing talents: public or private capital?"

On 13 July 2015, Alexei Krudrin, Gaidar Institute leading researcher, gave an interview to the TV channel “Russia-24” related to the sources of financial assistance to Greece.

On 9 July, the RBC web site posted an article by Konstantin Kazenin, senior researcher of the Center for Political Economy and Regional Development, under the title “ISIS’s Shadow: Is There an External Impact in the Caucasus and the Why Is It Dangerous.”

On 7 July, daily "Vedomosti" published an article by Maria Kazakova, deputy head of the International laboratory of Fiscal Sustainability, under the title "Jog In Place or a Step Forward" dedicated to the analysis of the efficient use of oil and gas revenues aimed at overcoming resource curse.

On 30 June-2July, Natalia Kornienko, head of the Tax System Development Department, attended the 11th Annual Eurasia Tax Forum held in Brussels.

International Department of Fiscal Sustainability of the Gaidar Institute together with researchers from RANEPA drafted for publication by NBER a paper¹ on developing a model of general economic equilibrium for simulation of fiscal sustainability in the future taking account depletion of energy and demographic resources.

On 22-29 June, Vera Barinova, head of the Innovation Economy Department, and Andrey Polbin, senior researcher of the Center for Macroeconomics and Finance, attended AESS 2015 conference "Confronting Frontiers, Borders, and Boundaries" held in San Diego.

On 29 June the RBC web portal released an article by Sergey Drobyshevsky, the IEP Sientific Director, “The Strength is in the weakness: why the ‘resource course’ and the sanctions are good for Russia.” The author analysis the problem areas of the Russian economy which can potentially bring benefits in future.

On 29 June the web portal of the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) released an article by Sergey Zhavoronkov, IEP senior researcher, dedicated to transfer pricing.
