On 23 March, daily 'Vedomosti' published an article by Ivan Lubimov, Gaidar Institute senior researcher, entitled: "In search of the 'fifth column'". In the article, the author quests for an answer to the question why authoritarian regimes are incapable of ensuring fast economic growth.

On 19 March, Mikhail Khromov, the Director of the Center for structural studies, gave an interview to the channel RBC-TV in the program "Today. The Key Point", in which he discussed the future of the savings pension

On 19 March, web portal «Meduza» published an interview with Irina Starodubrovskaya, the Director of the Center for Political economy and regional development, and Konstantin Kazenin, senior researcher of the center, in which they give a political line-up in the North Caucasus.

On 16 March, Natalia Kornienko and Svetlana Guliaeva, Gaidar Institute experts, participated in the RSPP annual tax conference. This year the conference participants discussed 'Deoffshorization in Russia: Implementation of the CFC rules and the way of their improvement'.

On 13–14 March, Natalia Kornienko, Gaidar Institute expert, made a presentation 'Practical application of excise tax administration modern mechanisms in EU countries aimed at clamping down on contraband and counterfeit goods (mechanisms of registration, accounting and control over alcoholic and tobacco products by using system of marking with control (identification) labels in EEU countries') at the international conference held in the city of Bishkek (Kirgiz Republic).

On 12 March, Gaidar readings 'Current challenges of economic policy and development of the banking sector on the federal and regional levels (on example of the Privolzhsky Federal District banks)' were held in the city of Nizhniy Novgorod.

On 10 March 2nd meeting of the discussion club "Academia" was held. The participants discussed Russia's economic development forecast fro 2015-2016 drafted by the Gaidar Institute experts. Sergey Drobyshevsky, Gaidar Institute Academic director, and Evsey Gurvich, Economic Expert group Director, were main presenters.
