On 4 May Maria Kazakova, head of the budget sustainability department, participated in the regular FBC meeting on "Compare Forecasts". The participants discussed reviews of Russia's 2015 economic development forecasts made by various organizations.

On 26 February Mikhail Khromov, director of the Center for Structural Studies, participated in the program 'What Is to Be Done? – Yuri Pronko' on the radio "Silver Rain". Guests of the program discussed the reasons and solutions for Russia's economic crisis.

On 26 February Sergey Tsukhlo, head of the business surveys department, published in RBC an article "How the War in Donbass Helped Russian Industry" dedicated to the analysis of the impact of geopolitical environment on the state of Russian industry.

On 26 February daily "Vedomosty" published an article by Sergey Drobyshevsky, scientific director, and Andrey Polbin, senior researcher, 'Monetary Policy: Unperilous Recession". In the article the authors analyze how the CB policy of inflation targeting moderates the impact of falling oil prices on the economic recession in Russia.

On 12 February Sergey Tsukhlo, head of the business surveys department, presented a paper "Russian Industry in the New Realia" at the seminar on economics of energy and environment held by the Moscow school of economics under Lomonosov MSU.

On 18 February an article by Yuri Zaitsev, Gaidar Institute researcher, was published on Banki.ru. The article is dedicated to the analysis of the effect of contracting participation of Russia in international organizations as a result of shifts in the geopolitical situation.

On 12 February Irina Starodubrovskaya, director of Political Economy and Regional Development Center, gave a public talk on "North Caucasus: sources of Instability" held by Polit.ru

On 17 February Alexander Knobel, head of foreign trade department, published in daily Vedomosty an article, wh ere he analyzes Russian EEU partners' losses from the introduction of tax maneuver and dangers for the union.

On 16 February Mikhail Khromov, director of Center for Structural Studies, published an article on GARANT.ru an article 'Crisis for a Decade'. The author analyzes the causes of the current economic crisis in Russia and governmental anti-crisis plan.

Gaidar Institute has taken 29th place in the top 55 think tanks in Central and Eastern Europe according to Global Go to Think Tank Index 2014, thus has improved its rating by three points (32^nd place in 2013).

6th February Ekaterina Pospelova, senior researcher, participated in the program «Starting Point» on the TV channel RussiaToday. The threat of the unemployment growth in Russia was discussed in the program as well as the anti-crisis plan of the government.

10th February the daily 'Vedomosty' published an article 'Economic Policy: War and Institutions' by Ivan Lyubimov, Gaidar Institute senior researcher. The article analyzes the impact of the global confrontation on the economic development of the countries.

4th February Ivan Lyubimov, senior research of the Gaidar Institute, participated in the discussion "Can Russian Build 'Normal' Market Economy Prior to the Oil End up?" held by the Yegor Gaidar Foundation.

Mikhail Khromov, Director of the Center for Structural Studies, gave an interview to the Swiss financial channel DukacopyTV, dedicated to the history of the CB monetary policy in 2014.
