The Gaidar Institute regrets to inform that Vladimir Mikhailovich Lopukhin, Russia’s first Fuel and Energy Minister, member of the first composition of the government under President Boris Yeltsin died at the age of 68 on May 26, 2020.  Earlier, he was diagnosed with the coronavirus COVID-19.
