On 15 March, the online Slon.ru magazine carried an article : “Not on the Right Place. How a Crowding-Out Effect Slows Down the Economy” by Ivan Lyubimov, Senior Researcher in which the author elaborates on the consequences of the technological progress for the labor market.

Issue No.3(21), 2016 of the analytical review – The Online Monitoring of Russia’s Economic Outlook. Trends and Challenges of the Social and Economic Development – was published. The goal of the above review is to follow current trends and changes in the Russian economy.

On 12 February Head of the Business Surveys Laboratory Sergey Tsukhlo gave an interview to “Liberty” radio station dedicated to the analysis of the Russian industry outlook.

On 12 February 2016, Natalia Kornienko, Head of the Tax System Department delivered the report: Amnesty of Capital: Roulette or Guarantee? at the RBK business-conference -- Tax Maneuvers in 2016: New in Legislation and Practice -- dedicated to topical issues of taxation. It was the first RBK business-conference in 2016.

On 8 February 2016, Director of Gaidar Institute’s Centre for Structural Research Mikhail Khromov was interviewed at the RBC-TV on the revoked banking license of mid-sized Intercommerz Bank.

Gaidar Institute has taken 31st place among 88 top think tanks in Central and Eastern Europe in the 2015 Global Go to Think Tanks ranking list, which is conducted by the University of Pennsylvania.
